Welcome to Spice of Life, a family business started in 1990 by Akram Mohammed.

Akram has been in the restaurant trade since the age of 16, starting as a waiter, moving on to train as a chef and now head of our Spice of Life, The Curry Place chain.

Spice of Life prides itself on presenting quality meals prepared from quality produce.   Only fresh produce is used in the preparation of our meals, we source and buy all the ingredients used in our cooking ourselves and everything is Halal.

In 2005 the group opened it's first restaurant, Spice, located in Bothwell Road, Hamilton. Diners can now enjoy the famous Spice of Life quality indian cuisine in comfortable surroundings, served by attentive staff. A great place for an evening out, an enjoyable lunch or a pre-theatre meal.
